Forging New Diplomatic Relationships: A Courtesy Call was paid on the Mayor of Montego Bay, Councillor Leeroy Williams and his Deputy, Councillor Richard Vernon by the newly appointed German Ambassador, His Excellency, Dr Stefan Keil, at the Corporation’s Union Street Office on November 4, 2021. The visit facilitated discussions around partnerships as the three explored ideas for strengthening existing diplomatic relationships between Jamaica and Germany, more specifically, through the city of Montego Bay. The idea of embracing new partnerships through Tourism, Sports, Technology, Arts and Science were also brought to the fore.
