Social Connection: the Kiwanis Club of Division 25 - Online Jamaica, paid a courtesy call on Mayor of Montego Bay, Councillor Leeroy Williams (left) on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Mayor’s Office to celebrate its 1st year anniversary and to inform Mayor Williams of the club’s willingness to partner on particular projects. At the meeting were (from left) Club Director Sherian Mercy, President Elect, Jonathan Rowe, Secretary, Mitsy-Ann Ratley and Young Nathaniel Barnes.
The group also spoke to its signature project, Education Connect, an online based educational programme offering courses in CSEC Mathematics, Spanish, and sessions in Personal Development which engages individuals aged 7 and upwards. All courses are free and open to anyone; Mercy stated that participants include persons from all across the Caribbean, namely persons from St. Lucia, Dominica and Jamaica.
